Mary MortensenMarsden is pleased to announce the promotion of Mary Mortensen to President of Marsden Building Maintenance. Mary will be responsible for supporting, empowering, and developing Marsden’s front-line associates, leaders, and employees, standardizing processes, and implementing tools to expand Marsden’s capabilities and strengthen operations to continue growing the business.

“I’m very excited to have Mary in this role,” said Chris Hillman, Chief Operating Officer of Marsden Services. “She has the experience and skills to develop our people, implement new processes, and apply tools that allow us to further our capabilities.”

Prior to Mary’s promotion to President of Marsden Building Maintenance, Mary served at Marsden as SVP of Special Projects. In this role, Mary led cross-functional administrative, human resources, talent acquisition, and operational projects in support of Marsden’s Integrated Facilities Services strategy and partnership with all of Marsden’s service lines.

Mary has over twenty-five years of experience in services and retail industries and brings a unique combination of experience in both operations and HR leadership roles. Prior to joining Marsden, Mary was the Vice President of Lifetouch’s Field Operations Support division. Mary has extensive experience designing and delivering strategies to support extensive field-based operational structures. She has been involved in developing a large-scale reorganizational plan to transition from a divisional approach to an enterprise-based function, as well as implementing and managing initiatives to generate cost efficiencies, improve operational timelines, and deliver growth. Mary has a service-focused mindset and is experienced in strategic planning, implementation, and leading high-performing teams.

Mary has a BA in Business Administration and Marketing, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
