Safety 1st Culture
We are dedicated to providing safe and healthy work environments for our clients and employees. This commitment is based on the principle that as professionals, our managers and employees will not practice or tolerate unsafe behaviors. Safe behavior will be recognized and rewarded, while at-risk behavior will be identified and eliminated.
Part of our commitment to our Safety 1st process is also our standard of safety compliance. Whether it is OSHA, the Department of Labor, or any other regulatory agency, our commitment remains to meet and exceed those standards.
The key to a successful safety program lies in every employee’s willingness to accept and carry out his/her safety responsibilities before the accident occurs. Our Safety Process is based on the belief that each employee must:
-
Work safely.

-
Identify and report unsafe conditions.
-
Accept personal responsibility for the safety of others as they accept it for themselves.
-
Follow all of our Cardinal Rules for Safety which are:
- Meet the company’s safety goal of providing our clients and our associates a safe and healthy work environment.
- Understand and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Use only the products/equipment that employees have been assigned and trained to use as part of their job duties.
- Immediately report and document all recognized workplace hazards to a manager
- Immediately report and document to a manager all job-related injuries, illnesses, accidents or near misses.
- Report for work rested, alert and physically fit to perform job duties.
- Obey all company and client safety policies, rules, and regulations.
- Perform professionally by working safely and not endangering others.
Our program is kept fresh in the minds of all of our associates through frequent bulletins, shift meetings and annual training – this is a cornerstone ensuring continuing effectiveness of our safety culture.
