Cleaning Coalition of America

Marsden is a Founding Member of the CCA

Marsden is proud to be one of the founding members of the Cleaning Coalition of America. In 2020, Marsden joined six other leading building service contractor organizations (BSCs) to establish the Cleaning Coalition of America (CCA). The CCA was formed to represent and advocate for commercial cleaning companies and their employees.

Commercial janitorial workers are members of the essential services workforce, yet their contributions to our communities are often overlooked. During the COVID-19 pandemic, commercial janitorial workers were vital to keeping critical infrastructure operations going by providing essential cleaning and disinfecting services. But even before the pandemic and now in its wake, BSC’s play a vital role in keeping facilities clean, safe, and healthy.

America’s BSCs operate in each of the 50 states and employ more than 3.2 million people. The CCA advocates on behalf of these essential workers, asking the United States Congress and Administration to support targeted measures that will help ensure the continuity of BSCs’ business operations and ongoing employment for this essential workforce.

“The Coalition gives voice to an important group of essential workers,” said Josh Feinberg, President of the Cleaning Coalition of America.

The CCA is composed of the following members: Able Services, American Building Maintenance (ABM), Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI), Collins Building Services (CBS), Harvard Maintenance, Marsden Services, and SBM Management.
