St Paul, Minn/Dayton, Ohio Marsden Holding, L.L.C., a national facility services provider, announces the acquisition of Alpha & Omega Building Services, Inc and Alpha & Omega Building Services, Ltd through its wholly owned subsidiary company, Scioto, L.L.C. The acquisition was completed on August 1, 2022. Scioto, L.L.C. is a commercial janitorial contractor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Alpha & Omega is a commercial janitorial and building maintenance contractor headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. The terms of the deal were not published.
The acquisition of Alpha & Omega will allow Scioto to expand its capacity and capabilities in Ohio and the surrounding markets. Alpha & Omega has over 35 years of commercial janitorial experience and services clients throughout southwestern Ohio, northern Kentucky, and eastern Indiana. Alpha & Omega cleans and disinfects a variety of commercial properties and specializes in servicing educational facilities, holding the janitorial contracts for over 200 school buildings that support more than 40,000 students. Alpha & Omega holds a CIMS Green Building Certification, a Certification with Honor from the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA), and a Global Bio-risk Advisory Council Certification.

Alpha & Omega will continue doing business as Alpha & Omega and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Scioto, L.L.C. The former owners of Alpha & Omega, Jim Baker, Michael Crotty, and Scott Berlekamp are assisting with the transition to Scioto, L.L.C. and Crotty and Berlekamp will remain actively engaged.
